Central location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms with balconies, clean and tidy, nice coffee and tortilla de patata, good wifi.
Nothing that I didn't like.

location is perfect. It's pretty clean and staff is nice. Big windows that let in a lot of light. They let you store your bags before you check in. In the double room with 2 beds there are individual wardrobes.. There is no hairdryer or iron in the room but at the reception they have them and leave them for you without any problem.
We stayed on the 10th floor and every time someone used the elevator you could hear the iron door close very loudly because it didn't have a stop, this at night was especially uncomfortable because it startled you several times. The walls are made of paper and you could also hear everything that was said in the next room and in the corridors. The price per night seems to me to be high for what the hotel is, even if you book 5 months in advance (They adapt to the area which is expensive in general)... Bathroom without ventilation, at least ours, (no window, no fan), so watch out for the fabadas.. The beds are old, you can sleep acceptably, but it will be necessary to put other mattresses (at least they are not spring).

Well, we arrived I was worried about the comments of other travelers, since I took the hotel without looking at them. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. At first they gave us a room on the 9th floor, I asked them if they could change my room to a lower floor, without any problem, they granted it to me at the same time. TV was only showing one channel, when I told the receptionist about it, he went upstairs and solved the problem right away. same thing happened to us with the WiFi connection. Everything we complained about was solved on the spot. facilities are old, yes, clean and in good condition. cradle we asked for our baby, perfect, as in no other hotel of higher category. I loved the breakfast, because the juice was not natural, you had a lot to choose from. the dinners and lunches, for £10 perfect too. employees, nice everyone, very hardworking. You could tell they were doing their job well. If I go back to Gijon again, hotel would be one of my options without a doubt.
Elevators are small, but it's a lesser evil. And perhaps, pillows could be improved.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of the city, perfect for exploring all the shops and restaurants in the area. the location is ideal for visitors who want to be in the center of all the action. the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is plentiful with lots of variety to pick from.
The hotel could do with some updates in certain areas.

Is a nice, clean hotel, in the center of the city, access to internet, good attendance
maybe the staff could be more prepared to speak in English, because some coleagues had some difficulties in understanding

The location of the hotel was excellent. The street was not noisy althought the hotel was in the centre. It was clean and safety..

We had such a lovely romantic escape in this hotel. the room was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed, perfect for a cozy night in. the highlight was definitely the view from the room's balcony, which overlooked the city's central hub. We were also pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast provided every morning, which gave us the energy we needed for exploring the city's charming streets.
But, we expected this, given the hotel's prime location in the heart of the city.

It's very close to the bus station. Towels were nice in the bathroom. Staff were helpful.
The building is not very attractive. Shower wasn't great - I had to hold the shower head in my hand as it would only point at the wall when placed in the wall bracket. No free WiFi

The hotel staff was really helpfull. The reception is open 24 / 7.
Pretty loud because it is in the city and the rooms are not very well isolated in terms of noise.

My room seems to be a room of a soviet prison. The staff simply don't care of you. No air conditioned, no internet, a little window looking the court inside an ancient building of ten floor. The wooden floor in completed covered of strange stains. Only a little table with a tv 20 years old. Better no talk about the bathroom.. A nightmare. Who give three star at this place ?

Central location with fantastic views of the city, and great value for money. Breakfast was satisfactory with a wide range of options.
The decor is slightly outdated, but this does not take away from the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The street noise can be heard at times, but it is expected in the heart of the city.

Only location was ok - close to bus station & beach. The rest - awful.
The price is extremely high for such poor room. The furniture, wall paper, floor, bathroom - too old, ragged and dirty. No internet in the room - you have to go down to reception. In the whole, it is much more worse than most hostels! Won't ever book this again.
